In our opening verse, the Lord Jesus instructs to let your light so shine that men may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. The word βgoodβ here refers to something eminent, choice, surpassing, precious, useful, suitable, commendable, or admirableβsomething excellent in its nature and characteristics and therefore well-adapted to its ends.

This means that when you, as a child of God, commit to always executing your tasks and projects with excellence, your light will so shine before men that theyβll see your good works.
