“A STILL SMALL VOICE’’
And after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. (1 Kings 19:12)
A lot of times, some of God’s children expect to hear a loud or thunderous voice when God speaks to them. But God often doesn’t speak like that even though He can. He speaks to us through His Spirit in us. That’s the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is usually the still small voice you hear when you pray, worship or study the Bible. So, pay attention to Him, and listen to that voice talking within you. As you listen attentively, He will tell you some important things.
