IT’S OUR MONTH OF POSSESSION.
INFINITE POSSIBILITIES BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end (Ecclesiastes 3:11).
The word translated “world” above is the Hebrew “olam” which means from vanishing point or eternity. God relates with man and instructs him to dominate his world, for He has set eternity in man’s spirit. There’s no limit to the extent, reach and capacity to which the human spirit can go. God has set eternity in the hearts of men so they may have extraordinary amplitude of vision, contemplation and conception.
Back in the Old Testament, the Lord said to Joshua: “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses” (Joshua 1:3). However, in the New Testament, you don’t need to “tread upon” the land to take possession. From where you are, you can take possession from your spirit through words.
All the blessings you require in life are inside you. The change you desire must start from within you. You must become a possessor from the inside first. Whatever you haven’t taken a hold of in the spirit will elude you in the physical. So today, what do you want? Is it a job? Or do you need money for some business? See it inside first. If you don’t have the job or money inside you, you’ll never see it outside.
God’s Word brings you a picture of your desires; a picture of possibilities. When you see those pictures, it’s important you apprehend what you see. Faith is the substance of things hoped for; that hope is the picture of your desire. When you accept, confess and endorse the reality of what you’ve seen, it becomes established.
There’s no limit to what you can possess from within. In Genesis 13:15, the Lord said to Abram (who later became Abraham), “For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.” By faith, Abraham took possession of the whole world from his spirit. God has prepared great blessings for you in this life, but to enjoy them you’ve got to see with your spirit and take possession.
