DIVINE ORDER FOR MARRIAGE – PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE

- And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
- And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
- Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
MESSAGE:
Ordinarily, I shouldn’t bother you about marriage, but I once saw an opinion poll that was conducted among teenagers. In the poll, the teenagers were asked if they wanted Jesus to return now so that we all can go to heaven. Many of them responded that they want Jesus to delay His coming until they get married and have their own children. This is very interesting because I know that this may be your answer as well.
Marriage is, first of all, for adults and not for children. This is the reason you must not let anyone push you into marriage as a child. You and your spouse will be married until death separates you, so there is no wisdom in rushing into marriage. Those practising child marriage are not following God’s divine order.
I see many teenagers who are not interested in family responsibilities yet, clamouring for ‘Dubai wedding’. Instead of having fantasies, I advise that you start learning all that is required to make you a successful adult who will stand the test of time in marriage. Learn about relationships, emotional intelligence, finance, budgeting, childcare, cooking, and home management from now so that your marriage in future will be beautiful.

While it is not yet time for you to get married, you must start preparing yourself for marriage
