IT IS IMPORTANT TO GO TO SCHOOL…

QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION WITH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO GO TO SCHOOL…

QUESTION: Why is it important to get higher education after primary school, since Jesus Christ is the wisdom and knowledge of God, and those in union with Him have access to that knowledge?

ANSWER: Yes they have access to that knowledge but the higher education you are talking about all of this is based on the arrangement of our society, the structure of our society. Don’t forget that many years ago, this formal education wasn’t even there but it’s been structured to give everyone an opportunity to learn something. For example, I’m speaking English to you right now and this words have to be learnt in school. You see, the more I read the more I understood the language and if I wanted to speak French I have to learn French. So, our communication with human beings is also based on this improved knowledge and the knowledge of our environment and some peoplew about others like I’m educating you now through the word of God. The same thing in the sciences, in history you’ve got to learn some information.

it is important to go to school...

See, you’ve got to learn and that’s the reason for going to school and in school there are different levels you can’t know everything at once, so after a certain level you go for more education and there is more to learn at a higher level and God also helps you learn like this. The bible does tell us about the school of the prophets many years ago, Elijah was a head of such a school he had several prophets under him, okay. The Levites were in the school for the Levites the priest thought them, he thought the people in tongues so this is important. If you have to go to school for some higher education, it is desirable, it is desirable.
