LISTEN CAREFULLY.
Therefore hear me now, my children, and do not depart from the words of my mouth. Proverbs 5:7
Hearing is different from listening. For example, if you’re in a store and there’s a public announcement, everyone may be hearing but not all of them are listening. How do I know? If you asked them what was said in the announcement, they probably won’t remember because they weren’t listening. Sadly, it’s the same with some of God’s children when they hear the Word.
The Lord always speaks to us through His Word. Therefore, as you hear God’s Word being preached to you, listen carefully to what is said and act on it too.
