WHAT’S YOUR REASON FOR LIVING?

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26.

LIVE PURPOSEFULLY.

TO THE BIBLE
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them”

LET’S TALK
Paul (initially Saul of Tarsus) was known as a persecutor of the Church. He arrested, imprisoned and killed Christians. He was on his way to Damascus to conduct a crucial raid when he had a divine encounter with Jesus Christ. The Lord called him by name and said, “…I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness…” (Acts 26:16). God doesn’t do anything without a purpose. The reason He appeared to Saul was to make him a minister and a witness, so that he’d take the Gospel to the Gentiles.

In John 10:10, Jesus Himself stated His purpose: “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” 1 John 3:8 gives more light to His statement: “…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” And then in Luke 19:10, He stressed: “…the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Have you discovered your purpose? Do you know why you were born? If you haven’t, you can begin to do that today. Ask the Lord, and He’ll tell you. He could speak to you expressly as He did Saul, or He could guide you into it gradually as you fellowship with Him. You certainly weren’t born for nothing. He made you for His glory. Let this sink into your consciousness as He directs you into your specific assignment on earth.
