Affirmation Train You Can Change Any Situations With Words
MY TESTIMONY.
I was born into a Roman Catholic Family where every member of the family was devoted to the doctrine of the Roman Catholic. It was therefore a religious family.
It all started some time ago in the year 1985 when I completed my secondary education and joined my family in Benin City. Little did I know that while I was away from my family, something remarkable had happened to almost every member of my family especially my mum, they were all BORN AGAIN. How strange I felt among them but then I noticed that the expression of love from them was remarkable. Anyway, it did not change anything with me; I was still the devoted member of the Legion of Mary and I intended keeping it that way but God had a plan for me.
I noticed that my mum was always praying and making declarations. I found out later on that she was actually praying and interceding for me to be born again. Once in a while she would invite me to ‘her’ church which I refused initially but as she persisted, I started attending 1st service in ‘my’ church and then attended ‘her’ own church service just to get her off my case. But then something happened to me in one of the services I attended that changed my life forever.
I heard the gospel preached like I never heard before, the reality of God and His love for me came alive in my spirit and I just couldn’t resist the urge to be born again, which I did late 1985 and got filled with the Holy Ghost few days after that. That was the beginning of a glorious walk with God.
Even though I got born again in the year 1985, I got really exposed to the word of God when I came in contact with the ministry of our Man of God, Pastor Chris… when I was invited to attend a fellowship meeting at the then Bendel State University now called Ambrose Alli University by my brother Pastor Tom Obiazi. The fellowship was called ‘Youth for Christ’.
I heard great words, saw the miraculous take place and got filled again and again with the Spirit of God. From that day till today, I have not looked back; it’s been from glory to glory for me.
