PRAY FOR THE LEADERS OF YOUR COUNTRY…
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
One of the spiritual responsibilities the Lord has given you as His child is to pray for leaders of your country.
This is a great responsibility that you must do with your heart. When you pray for your leaders, God’s grace is made available to them to do what is right and just, things that’ll promote godliness in your country.
Therefore, speak words of blessing to your President, Prime Ministers, Governors, Lawmakers, Mayors and others in authority; pray that they use their offices to promote the Gospel. Also, encourage your friends to do the same. This is the right thing to do.
