Free them from corruption! Studying the book of Genesis, itβs clear that the whole of creation was put under bondage at the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). As a result, death, failure, decay, and every negative thing came into the world. People began to age, fall sick, and die. It became possible for things to decay and be corrupted. This was until Jesus came and saved the whole worldβnot just the world of men but the mountains, seas, animals, etc. The Bible says He bought the whole field (Matthew 13:44), and the field is the world.

Now, He has given us the responsibility of preaching the Gospel to every creature: ββ¦Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creatureβ (Mark 16:15). Notice He didnβt say βto all human beingsβ but βto every creature.β This means God has given you the responsibility to take charge of the earth by speaking words of blessing to it. Remember, God said to Abraham, ββ¦And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessedβ (Genesis 26:4). Youβre the seed of Abraham; therefore, youβre blessed, and you carry a blessing. Everything around you is groaning, eagerly waiting to be delivered from the bondage of this world into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. And you have arrived on the scene to distribute the blessing, and you do it through your words. By speaking words of blessing to the world, you protect and preserve it from damage and corruption.
Matthew 5:13-16 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Say these words after me, βIβm a seed of Abraham; therefore, through me, the world is blessed. Iβm the salt of the earth, and by my words, I preserve the earth and protect it from bondage and corruption.
