RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 7TH MARCH.

THE WORD OF HIS GRACE.
And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are You (Acts 20:32).

Notice the opening verse doesn’t say, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his judgment…”; or “…to the word of His anger…”; no! It says, “…I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace….” What is grace? It’s God’s loving-kindness, bestowing unconditional blessings and favours, even to the undeserving.
Grace is the awesome beauty of God’s character; His loving tenderness, far removed from wickedness, falsehood, darkness, and everything that damns. With grace, it’s not according to what you deserve, but according to His mercy and kindness shown you in Christ Jesus before the world began.
The Word of His grace is that you’re surrounded with His love; you’re the focus of His love. There’s no judgment against you (Romans 8:1). The word of the law condemns; it’s harsh and invokes the wrath of God, yet it didn’t make men perfect (Hebrews 7:19). The law couldn’t give life. But thanks be unto God, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). We’re under the grace of the Lord Jesus; we’re being built by the Word of His grace.
Give yourself completely to the Word of His grace, which has power and ability; it’s efficacious in itself and by itself to make you what it talks about. Did you notice that God didn’t say you should “build yourself with the Word”; rather, He says, “The Word will build you up.” So, all you have to do is digest the Word, receive and learn it, so you can have it in you, and live by it.
PRAYER

Dear Father, your Word is building my life and transporting me into higher and greater realms of glory. I’m conscious of this blessing, as I walk in righteousness, strong in faith, and fruitful in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
