RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TEEVO SATURDAY, DECEMBER 22ND
(ABANDON YOURSELF TO GOD ALMIGHTY)
TO THE BIBLE
John 3:30 AMP C “He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so.]”
LET’S TALK
Some people get hurt easily, but not me. I’ve asked myself what someone can possibly do to hurt me, and I can’t think of anything. I wasn’t always that way, but I grew to this point through the Word and the Holy Spirit. Now, it’s just not possible to hurt me. Let me tell you how and why. I found out that as long as I’m in pursuit of God’s pursuits and the fulfillment of His dreams and not mine, it doesn’t matter what anybody does to me. I abandoned myself to Him a long time ago; that’s why it’s not possible to hurt me anymore.
How do you hurt one who’s dead? Like Paul, I’ve been “…crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…” (Galatians 2:20 CEV). When you let go of your “self” and become more like Jesus, you’ll be amazed at the greater life you’ll live. Then, you’ll live above all the wrong things others say or do against you.
You may remember those things sometimes, but you shouldn’t count it against them. Instead, you should remain friendly and courteous toward them. Some might think you’re naïve when you act like this, but you’re not doing it for anyone but yourself. That’s because you understand that you can’t move with the Holy Spirit while you’re carrying all the hurtful things people said or did to you. So, let go of the hurt, and you’ll see yourself flowing freely in the anointing of God’s Spirit.

Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me your Word today, and showing me how to live above offense and bitterness. Amen.
