THE MARK OF THE BEAST.
QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION WITH PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.
QUESTION: “Greetings Pastor Chris, though Satan knows bible prophecies, he doesn’t know God’s timing, does that pre-suppose that throughout generations, Satan always has a candidate as the anti-Christ? Also, if a Mark or chip was implanted on the left hand instead of the right hand, is that still considered the Mark of the Beast?”
ANSWER
You know, one of the things you have to realize is that some of these statements that are made off the cuff and some very generic statements supposedly coming as conclusions from God’s Word are not necessarily right because they sound right, so… “Whenever a prophetic word is specific, you have to treat it with the detail that it gives, if the Word says the right hand or the forehead, it cannot be the left hand, he didn’t say one of your hands, he didn’t say left hand or right hand, he said right hand or the forehead, so if it’s on the left hand, it’s got nothing to do with it, it’s not a fulfillment of the prophecy. So that’s that, and then of course the first one.
You know, one of the things you have to realize is that some of these statements that are made off the cuff and some very generic statements supposedly coming as conclusions from God’s Word are not necessarily right because they sound right, son you say Satan knows, you say though Satan knows bible prophecies, he doesn’t know God’s timing, that’s a flat statement, but how true is that? How far can we go with such statement before we go overboard? How accurate could that be? For example, Jesus said concerning his return, he says that day and that hour knows no man, in other words nobody knows that day or that hour, but it will be wrong for you to think you cannot know the year because he was very specific, now whenever God is specific, don’t try to generalize, you’d go wrong. So whenever God is specific, don’t try to make it general, if God gives a figure like 279, don’t round it up and say 280 and if he wants you to do that, he will give it to you in the context or in some other area that he speaks of exactly the same thing and he will give you the impression that you can go ahead and approximate it. So it’s very important for you to know what you are at liberty to approximate and what you are not at liberty to approximate or generalize. So you cannot just say though Satan knows bible prophecies, he doesn’t know God’s timing, so I said how far can you go, to be right before you get wrong?
You see, he can know the timing if God gave details of the timing, to the extent of the details, again like I said when Jesus said that day and the hour nobody knows. Can Satan know the year? Emphatically yes. Why? Because it’s all in the bible. It’s all in there; God was very specific about when Jesus would be born, think about that. He was specific about the year that Jesus would be born, all this is important. So just like Pastor Emeka said, that’s why he’s trying to buy time because he knew something about the time and they also know when their judgment would be, and that’s where that devil said have you come to destroy us before the time, so he knew something about the time.”
