THE SECERETS OF SPEED IN LIFE AND DESTINY – DR. PAUL ENENCHE
SCRIPTURE: “Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. From thence she seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.” Job 39:27-29
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To gain speed, you must not only have vision, but you must also revise and review your vision.
Speed is critical for destiny fulfilment. To attain God’s purpose for your life speed is needed. Without speed, delay is inevitable, and destiny may be aborted. The eagle, a bird known for its swiftness, is an example of speed and precision in nature. Like the eagle, we need a sense of urgency and momentum to fulfill our divine assignment.
The question then is: What are the secrets of speed in life and destiny?
- Vision from the Lord
Vision is the foundation for speed in life. To gain speed, it is not just enough to have a vision; you must also revise, review, and reconnect with your vision regularly. Habakkuk 2:1-2 says: “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me… And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
Reviewing your vision regularly fuels your passion and renews your sense of urgency. Reviewing your vision empowers you to move forward with clarity and determination.
- The Hand of the Lord
The Hand of the Lord is a divine force that imparts supernatural speed. 1 Kings 18:46 says: “And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”
When the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, he outran the chariot of Ahab. This shows that when God’s hand is upon you, divine acceleration is possible. God’s Hand propels you forward, imparting a sense of urgency, strength, and speed to accomplish His purpose. To gain speed in life, seek the hand of God to rest upon you through prayer, worship, and alignment with His Will.
Remember this: To gain speed, you must not only have a vision, but you must also revise and review your vision regularly.
