But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon youโฆ (Acts 1:8).
From the words of Jesus above, we discover the source of true power, and how we can receive that power into our lives: Itโs by receiving the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the embodiment of all power. Many people today are seeking for power in the wrong places. How sad!

Thereโs no power in the cults or in any of the religions of the world. Thereโs no power outside of the Holy Spirit; Heโs the power of God. If youโre born again, and have received the Holy Spirit into your life, then youโve received power; He is the power- giver. He imbues you with the divine enablement to accomplish any task and change any hopeless situation.
The question is, have you been born again? Have you received the Holy Spirit? If you have then you donโt need any other power. You donโt need to ask God for more power. The power-giver Himself lives in you. That means you can never de disadvantaged anymore. No wonder the Apostle Paul said โl can do all things through Christ.โ (Philippians 4:13); he didnโt say โ0 God I pray youโll give me power to do all things.โ

The power you need is the Holy Spirit. This is why itโs compulsory for every Christian to receive the Holy Spirit. If you want the glory of God to be seen in your life; if you want to walk in dominion over the devil, sickness, disease, infirmities and death, then you must have the Holy Spirit. When you have Him, you have all the power youโll ever need to effect changes in your world. No matter the challenges you face in life, you have the power to crush every adversity. Nothing is impossible unto you; you can change hopeless situations because youโre anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power.
