"MONTH OF THE SHINING LIGHT"

This month of August is a special one. I will read a few scriptures to guide your mind. First is Mathew 5:16 KJV "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Isaiah 60:1-2 KJV "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Observe that it’s not the Lord that’s gonna make you shine. It’s your responsibility to shine."

Romans 12:10-11KJV "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;"

I want to read to you from the Amplified translation "Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord."

This is an instruction from the Lord. He is asking you to do it because you can do it.
This is August and it is the month of THE SHINNING LIGHT. Who are you? Are you a shining light? Yes, I am. John was a burning and shining light. This month is for you because you are a shining light. Say, I am a shining light. I am shining. This means, for everyone who’s shining this month, there’s something for you.

There are two things you must do this month;
👉 ACT. Do something. Tell others about Christ. Put some enthusiasm into the things of God. Wake up Sunday morning and say wow! It’s Sunday, another day to Fellowship with God and fellow believers wow! Stir up yourself for Evangelism. Shout your way to the top. Shout in triumph.

👉 PRAY, Pray in the Spirit. Luke 9:28-29 KJV "And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray. And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering."

Everytime you pray in the spirit, something happens to your physical body. If you pray in tongues and pray in the spirit often you won’t have those headache and cancer over you. Pray on tongues often. Hallelujah!
