MARCH 2026 – HEALING STREAMS LIVE HEALING SERVICES WITH PASTOR CHRIS – DAY 1 REV. CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD
The Lord is gracious. He deserves our praise and worship. If He is God as He says He is, He deserves to be worshipped, and you can only worship Him the way He demands and desires. Jesus said, “God is a spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.”

Think about it… every kind, whatever the case may be. In Matthew 10:1, Jesus gave His disciples the power to do exactly the same thing. In John 14:12, for those who think it was only the disciples, Jesus left us with the power to do what He was doing Himself. He did not say only the 12 disciples, but all who believe. I believe with all my heart, so I do the works of Jesus. He gave us power.
Acts 1:8 tells us that when we receive the Holy Spirit, we will receive power from the Holy Spirit. We can actually effect changes. That’s wonderful! In Matthew 10:1, He gave us power to cast out unclean spirits and to heal all manner of sicknesses. He gave us authority in His name—the power of attorney to use His name. John 14:13—only God can talk like that because He is limitless.
RIGHTEOUSNESS
First, righteousness is a word we hear and use, but most people don’t truly understand what it is. No one can actually tell you what righteousness is except from God’s perspective. How can you describe something you don’t know or have never experienced? For some people, righteousness is just a form of moral piety or an exaggerated idea of their own moral state.

There are different kinds of righteousness. Some people will say they are righteous in their jobs or businesses. Others will claim righteousness in their families or social circles. Some may talk about their righteousness in their communities. But Isaiah 64:6 says that all our “righteousnesses” are as filthy rags before God.
Righteousness is the nature of God that demonstrates or reveals His rightness—the ability to be always right and never wrong. The rightness of God is the nature of God to be always right. Righteousness is God’s equity in judgment. It is His fairness to everyone. So, we say no one could be righteous except God. The Bible says in Him, there is no darkness at all. He gave the Israelites laws, but they faltered. And if you missed one part of the law, you failed in all of it.
So, how could you relate to a God who demands absolute righteousness? This is the reason for Jesus. He knew we could never make it. Jesus came to give us the life and nature of God. When He gave us this nature, it came with a package—a gift—the very thing no man could ever attain. When you believe in Jesus Christ, you receive His life and nature. When you are born again, you receive the gift of God. It is a certain kind of righteousness.
Romans 3:21 (NIV) tells us that without having obeyed the law, we are conformed to His demands of justice. Romans 5:17 states that those who receive the gift of righteousness will reign in life. They will no longer be victims of death, sickness, poverty, or anything.
Let’s assume you found out, via a document, that your great-grandfather left something for you in his will—a great inheritance that suddenly makes you very, very rich. He left you several estates, and you didn’t know. Imagine if I found that document and came with a lawyer to show it to you, and all you had to do was sign to claim the riches. What would you do?
Well, I have news for you—it’s true. Someone left for you an estate greater than anything any grandfather could have left for you. I’m telling the whole world what I got from Jesus Christ. It’s indescribable and unimaginable. You can only relate with it from your spirit.
When you receive this gift of righteousness—the rightness of God that is wrought in your spirit—you have the ability to do what God wants you to do. There’s more. So much more. With the rightness of God in your spirit, you can stand in the presence of God without inferiority, guilt, or failure.
You have to receive that gift—accept it and make it yours. You reign over fear, over infirmity. I could cast out devils because I have the gift of righteousness. You also have authority in His name. You can speak in His name whenever sickness attacks your body. Never allow sickness or disease into your body. You have a right to refuse it. Your body belongs to Jesus Christ. You are a spirit, and you live in your body, given to you as a steward. Refuse to allow sickness to have influence over your body. Use the name of Jesus, and sickness will obey you.
Many Christians think that if they are faithful to God, He will take care of their bodies. They are wrong. Faithfulness and faith are not the same. You are the caretaker of your body, not God. You are responsible for taking care of your body. So, don’t cry when sickness or pain attacks your body. God doesn’t respond to your crying. He responds to your faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
God loves us, and He wants us always well. Nobody can serve God without the Holy Spirit. Christianity is not a religion. In Christianity, God gives you His life to live for Him.
