TOPIC: Overcoming The Rule Of The Flesh (Seeds Of Destiny 20 August 2025)

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anyone who is controlled by the flesh is under the spell of failure.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that the strength of will or decision power is a critical necessity in the journey of life and destiny fulfilment. The strength of a person’s will undergirds the strength of his destiny. Those who have strong destiny have strong decision power. People who succeed with God and ultimately succeed in life, have the strength of will, decision, and choice.

When I was in courtship with my wife many years ago, we both agreed with each other that the day immorality entered the relationship would be the end of the relationship. In other words, immorality would be a sign that marriage will not hold as intended. And by the mercies of God, that strength of will prevailed and the vow was maintained for the entire duration of the courtship.

The truth is, anyone who is controlled by the flesh is under the spell of failure. When the flesh rules your life, the future is not guaranteed. So, you must make up your mind that your life is not going to be under the control of your flesh.

Wake up when you need to wake up. How can the devil respect you when you don’t respect your own word or will? The reason for many destroyed or irrelevant lives is the abundance of indiscipline.

Now, what is the therapy for indiscipline? How can you overcome the cravings of flesh?

1)Absolutely surrender yourself to the control of the Holy Spirit.

2)Learn to say No! to the flesh. When the mind is made up, anything is possible. Refuse to oversleep when you have a lot to do. Refuse the temptation of immorality, carnality, materialism, falsehood, theft, etc.

3)Surround your life with disciplined people. Let serious minded people be your friends. Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17).
Remember this: Anyone who is controlled by the flesh is under the spell of failure.
