TOPIC: The Preservation Power Of Vision
SCRIPTURE: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. – Proverbs 29:18.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Visionary people are durable people.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2025 MESSAGE:
It has been made clear from scripture that vision is a secret of durability and sustainability of life. Visionary people are durable people. People of vision are not easily cut short before their time.
Joseph was a typical scriptural example of someone who was preserved by the power of vision. And so, we cannot talk about vision and durability of life without talking about Joseph.

Genesis 37:5-10 reveals how visionary Joseph was. He dreamt a dream and told his brothers, and they hated him yet more. Joseph was a man of dreams and visions. His brothers could not stop him despite their hatred for him. The vision came to pass as he became prime minister in Egypt. And in accurate fulfilment of the visions he saw, his brothers came and bowed down for him.
One important thing to note is that the same vision was responsible for the preservation and durability of Joseph’s life. In Genesis 50:25-26, we see the durability or longevity of Joseph’s life: And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence. So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
Now, this was the same boy concerning whom they said, behold the dreamer cometh. Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams (Genesis 37:19-20). But they could not kill him or stop his dreams and visions from coming to pass. They put him in a pit, but the pit could not swallow him. They sold him into slavery in Egypt, but even in slavery he flourished instead of perishing. Potiphar’s wife came against him, and he was thrown into prison, but the prison could not end his life. The prison became his ladder to the palace.
Joseph passed through all manner of things that could have cut him short, but he was not killable because there was a vision in him that must come to pass.
This confirmed that a person of vision is not easily wastable.
Beloved, no matter what the devil and his agents may throw at you, you shall fulfil your days if you hold onto your God-ordained vision. If they cannot take your vision, they cannot take your future.
Remember this: Visionary people are durable people.
