MARCH – THE MONTH OF POSSESSION

February was the month of walking in the lights.

God had instructed Moses to send spies and bring back reports. He sent people that will become leaders. From the twelve tribes of Israel. This was the latter way, not the former. Joseph got the birth right and not Reuben.

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, everyone a ruler among them. And Moses by the commandment of the Lord sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel. And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur. Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori. Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh. Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph. Of the tribe of Ephraim, Oshea the son of Nun. Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu. Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi. Of the tribe of Joseph, namely, of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi. Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli. Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael. Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi. Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi – NUMBERS 13:1‭-‬15 KJV.

Levi is not one of them to get a land. They were there forty days…

And they returned from searching of the land after forty days. And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land. Numbers 13:25‭-‬26 KJV.

Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.” Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:27‭-‬33 NKJV.

Have you ever thought about it… Tall buildings in the cities and politicians and everyone seems bigger than we are…

Wow… How accurate… Grasshoppers land anyhow, they don’t know where they’ll land…

So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.” Numbers 14:1‭-‬4 NKJV.

THEY RETURNED TO EGYPT IN THEIR HEARTS…

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. But Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes; and they spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: “The land we passed through to spy out is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, ‘a land which flows with milk and honey.’ Only do not rebel against the Lord, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread; their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us. Do not fear them.” And all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Now the glory of the Lord appeared in the tabernacle of meeting before all the children of Israel. Numbers 14:5‭-‬10 NKJV.

THE LORD INTERVENED RIGHT ON TIME

Then the Lord said to Moses: “How long will these people reject me? And how long will they not believe me, with all the signs which I have performed among them? I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.” And Moses said to the Lord: “Then the Egyptians will hear it, for by your might you brought these people up from among them, and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, Lord, are among these people; that You, Lord, are seen face to face and your cloud stands above them, and you go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. Now if you kill these people as one man, then the nations which have heard of your fame will speak, saying, ‘Because the Lord was not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them, therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’ And now, I pray, let the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying, ‘The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation. ’ Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.” but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord — because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice, they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it. But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it. Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwell in the valley; tomorrow turn and move out into the wilderness by the Way of the Red Sea.” Numbers 14:11‭-‬19‭, ‬21‭-‬25 NKJV.

Now God made a promise to only Joshua and Caleb…

The carcasses of you who have complained against Me shall fall in this wilderness, all of you who were numbered, according to your entire number, from twenty years old and above. Except for Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun, you shall by no means enter the land which I swore I would make you dwell in. Numbers 14:29‭-‬30 NKJV.

“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Obadiah 1:17 NKJV.

Upon mount Zion shall be salvation.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, Hebrews 12:22‭-‬23 KJV.

The spirit of just men made perfect. On Mount Zion shall be salvation. They shall possess those that possess them.

And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it. – Obadiah 1:18 KJV.

ESUA WAS PROFANE

The prophet rebuked Esau for joining to fight Jacob. He would be consumed by Jacob. Understand what the Bible says. We’re heirs according to the promise in the church age. The church age has two days. He will revive us in the third one thousand days. There will be one thousand years of peace upon the Lord’s return.

God instructed them to spy the land. They couldn’t believe and couldn’t take it.

You’re born again. You’re the believing one. You’re a child of faith. Salvation comes by faith. We’re dealt the measure of faith. You’re a child of faith. Believing is acting on faith. Working your believing is Christianity. It’s the result of your believing.

I believe God. Yeah. Is in my system. I have the spirit faith lije Caleb. Let’s go on at once and take the land.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen – Hebrews 11:1 KJV.

EVIDENCE OF UNSEEN REALITIES

For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear – Hebrews 11:2‭-‬3 KJV.

Framed by the Rhema of God. There are things in the realm of the spirit that respond to words. When God said “let there be… “those things became.

The world was a chaotic mass and God’s word brought order. We have the same spirit.

Things that are seen are made of invincible things.

If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? – John 3:12 KJV.

THERE ARE HEAVENLY AND EARTHLY THINGS

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: – Romans 1:20 KJV.

The invincible things made by God… Can be known by the visible things that He made…. His eternal power also…

THERE ARE INVISIBLE THINGS OF GOD

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal – 2 Corinthians 4:17‭-‬18 KJV.

Whatever were going through came to pass. While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen. The unseen things are eternal. We don’t consider the things that are seen. I can see them, but, I don’t consider them.

Caleb and Joshua saw what others saw. They didn’t consider them. Don’t fight faith. Fight the good fight of faith. We’re smarter than that. I’m not worried about my trusting in Jesus. Don’t hold on to this world. It will melt and pass away…

THIS MONTH OF MARCH… IS THE MONTH OF POSSESSING YOUR POSSESSIONS

It’s your month of possession. What the Lord has given you is yours. Don’t let anything take it away from you. It doesn’t matter what has been going on in your body, what the pain is… Perfection and healing and completeness for your body. No infirmity can dwell in your body. Your body is the temple of God. You’ve got life in you. In the name of the Holy Ghost.

That which is unseen is eternal. Thank you Lord Jesus.
